What powerful words these are! We can always give thanks — even when we do not “feel” particularly grateful in our hearts — because each one of us has a unique role to play in the Lord’s master plan. No one else can play our parts, and we must not covet the roles that He chooses to give to others.
No, each experience we have (positive or negative) gives us the opportunity to deepen our faith in the Lord, so long as we remember that there are no accidents in His plan, and each of us is uniquely called by Him to lead lives of purpose and significance, rather than fear and discontent.
When viewed from this perspective, life starts to make a lot more sense, don’t you think? We exist to bring glory to God, rather than to ourselves, and one of the most powerful ways we can model this is by accepting how He has made each of us uniquely different and choosing to celebrate our distinctiveness, rather than apologizing for it. 💡
Amen! May He fan into flame the gifts He gave us! God bless!
