Hi there!
I thought I’d take a moment to share an update with you about this blog. I’ve been praying about it for awhile, but the answer only hit me a few minutes ago! I already have great peace about it, though. So here goes:
Following this post, I will only be blogging five days per week (on the weekdays). So, you’ll see new posts from me Monday through Friday, but not on the weekend.
Why? Well, in part, because I’d like to spend more time reading your blogs, and contributing more to the wonderful community that we have here. I wish to listen well, and perhaps respond more to what you all are writing, so that I can better appreciate what is happening in your lives. So, Lord willing, I’ll do more of that on the weekends. Of course, I’ll still try to respond to comments and likes (mine and yours!), as my work schedule and gradually-improving-but-not-quite-there-yet asthma will allow.
So that’s the plan for now – thanks for understanding. Perhaps I should change the name of the blog to “Weekdaily Hopeful”? 😉
That sounds lovely! Haha, I never understood how people who post daily do it. I’m more of a once or twice a week type. XD Hope to catch up on your blog a bit today! 😊

Thank you for understanding! I need to catch up on my blog reading, too.
How are things with you? How are your studies coming along? And is your dad doing OK?

Things are going okay! Studies are going slow, but going well. My dad’s about the same. Thanks for asking! 😊 And how are things going with you? And how is your dad?

Glad to hear the studies are continuing – that is the important thing. A little progress each day is how the tortoise beat the hare, remember. Glad to hear your dad is doing ok, too.
I am well, and so is my dad! I am just very tired (work project), but even so, God is still faithful! ✝️

(Sorry for the late reply – I’ve been so busy lately.)
Amen that’s true! 😊
He isn’t well but at least he isn’t worse. 😊
I’m glad you and your dad are doing well!

No worries at all — life gets busy sometimes, and that isn’t always a bad thing!
Thanks so much for the update on your dad. I appreciate it! 🧡

😊 It has been busy. Working on my moms car (with instructions from my dad), Jack, and other stuff… at least I have been able to keep up with Bible Study!

Amen! Living in the present. This verse is very important to me!

Yes – living in the present, but also recognizing when it’s time to make a change in our lives, and not fighting it. At least that’s how the verse is playing out in my life at this time. 🙂

I have no doubt that you will continue to be daily hopeful (and thankful) whether you post or not. 😊
When I began my blog, I had no idea of the amount of time this would take. I have no schedule for blogging, and I don’t, so far, want one. I just put it up when I’ve written something. Reading and replying to others’ blogs takes more of my time than my own posts. That said, I must also add that the community is a huge blessing to me, and I get a lot out of the give-and take. I especially look forward to yours, as you dig pretty deep and rightly divide the Word of God.

Thank you, Kathy. You are right about the amount of time that is involved. When I first started, the Lord made it clear that I was to blog daily and anonymously, so I was just kept following the guidance that I was given. However, I am sensing that the direction has changed (at least about the daily blogging bit), so I now feel released to not post anything on the weekends at this time.
I appreciate your kind words. They are quite encouraging to me, as (and I know I’ve said it before – 99.9% of the time, I have no idea what I’m going to post each day until I start writing. So thank you for the encouragement, and keep up the wonderful writing on your blog, my friend! Your “Three Boxes” series is still one of my favorites. 🙂

Daily Hopeful it shall remain because even though you’re not posting on the weekends, you’re still here sharing hope on other blogs. 🙂
Thankful for you, my friend.

We certainly understand. We’ve learned the importance of being gentle with our postings so we can spend time reading others works. We didn’t want to burn people out especially when there are so many people out there encountering so many wonderful people and sites that we saw pairing back their post. We are learning balance, lol.

Yes, I am in complete agreement! It’s important to make time to connect with others God has placed in our lives – especially here. I am grateful for you, and the important reminder that you shared about balance!
