Hopeful Thought

These wise words from Aesop remind me to be hopeful. Why? Well, the way I see it, both the giver and receiver of the kindness usually end up blessed in some way. And while the blessing may not always show up right away, we can rest in the knowledge that – as Aesop indicates – a kindness shown is never wasted. 💡

  1. Reminds me of Isaiah 55.11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
