What an inspirational Bible verse! It reminds me that God has fully equipped us to run the race that He has set before us. However, it’s up to us – with the Holy Spirit’s enabling – to actually complete the special and unique assignment that the Lord has given to each of us.
So let’s run, dear friends, and do so “with endurance,” as this passage – my choice for the verse of the week – indicates. After all, the race that each one of us faces is a life-long journey, and we will need endurance (sufficiently supplied by the Holy Spirit) in order to complete the spiritual assignment that the Lord has set before us.
Also, we must remember to strip off anything that weighs us down needlessly (otherwise, the additional weight can slow our progress). I wonder what, if anything, that the Lord may be asking us to strip away, so that we may more fully follow the path that He’s laid out before us. I wonder…?
So yes, let’s run – with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. In so doing, we’ll inevitably complete the very assignment that the Lord has purposed for each one of us.
Amen! God bless!

Hmm. Ouch, conviction set in. Pinpointed weight slowing me down that I need to toss aside.
Thank You, Lord (through my friend Daily).

I love how the Lord speaks to us through such unexpected ways. Your “Tears of Gold” post is still sitting tenderly on my heart, so that You, Lord, for speaking to me through my friend, Kathy! 💛
