Good Teacher

I can have hope today because the Lord promises to instruct us in the way that He has us to go – even when we may feel lost or confused. Oh, how we must continually be reminded to trust God more and our emotions (comparatively) less!

Feelings definitely are important – they are God-given, and since we are made in His image, we must remember that God has emotions, too. However, it’s one thing to let emotions come along for the ride, but quite another to allow them to unseat the Master Driver and dictate our life journey (especially when the Driver is the only One with the map!). 🚘

So let’s have hope – after all, the Lord is here to teach us for our benefit (our best interests), and He’s never broken a promise yet!
