I came across this quote today on wisdom and integrity, and felt compelled to share it here. Integrity is often hard to define, but fairly easy (in my experience) to recognize in others. Sadly, it’s a rare trait to spot these days
I strive to be a woman of integrity, and highly value this trait in others. I like this definition of the word because of its tie to the concept of wisdom. In my view – and today’s quote affirms this – without wisdom, it is impossible to possess true integrity.
Integrity can be hard, but it is always right. I think of Joseph’s story in Genesis 37-50, and remember that while integrity can create some challenges from time to time, when we place our hope in the Lord, He has a way of working things together for our eventual good (in His timing). ๐
Amen ๐๐ I too really value this trait & make it a point to really cultivate this characteristic through God. ๐๐

Amen, and I try to do the same! We are often tested in this, as integrity and honesty are closely associated. However, by Godโs grace He keeps growing us and pruning away the rough edges, and giving us His strength and mercy day by day. ๐
